When you open this jar of carob honey, you climb the mountains of Taroudant with us, where carob trees cling to the dry, sunny slopes and where bees draw a rare, deep, and generous honey from their blossoms.

Origin

This honey is harvested from the flowers of the carob tree, a robust Mediterranean tree that is melliferous and perfectly adapted to dry, mountainous terrain.

In the Ouled Berhil region, in the heart of the Taroudant mountains, the carob tree is one of those trees that define the landscape and provide bees with precious blossoms.

Carob honey is considered in Morocco to be a high-quality honey, valued for its character and aromatic richness.

As with the rest of our range, it is harvested with respect for the hives, without antibiotics or added sugar, with particular attention paid to the naturalness of the product.

Color & taste

Our carob honey has a dark color, ranging from deep amber to dark brown depending on the harvest. Its texture is rich and smooth, with a pleasant density on the palate.

On the palate, it develops an intense and warm taste, with a profound sweetness and a note naturally evocative of carob, sometimes accompanied by slightly chocolatey nuances.

It is a generous, well-rounded honey, rich in character, that leaves an impression of depth and indulgence.

The qualities of our Carob Honey

Traditionally appreciated as part of a balanced diet, carob honey is particularly sought after for:

  • Supporting digestive comfort on a daily basis;
  • Soothing the throat, especially in a warm drink;
  • Naturally providing antioxidant compounds, as part of a varied and balanced diet.
A deep and generous honey, harvested in the heart of the Taroudant mountains, where the carob tree and the bees together shape a true treasure of the Moroccan terroir.
